!? Veronica Lueken - "Bayside Apparitions" of New York
CONDEMNED BY THE LOCAL BISHOP AS NOT SUPERNATURAL - CONTAINING THEOLOGICAL ERRORS / HERESY CONTRADICTING SCRIPTURE, also DEMONIC REQUESTS TO PERFORM A FORM OF OCCULT DIVINATION.
Also has numerous false prophecies and contradicts the teaching of a pope, a pre-Vatican II pope at that.
Furthermore, these 'visions' may even have given a direction to practise an occult form of divination, and, also may have given names of demons to invoke.
Veronica Lueken allegedly received messages from Our Lord and Our Lady
starting in the 1970’s and lasting into the 1990’s. Veronica’s messages
were known as the "Message of Bayside" in Queens, which is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Brooklyn.
The visions and messages of Bayside have been declared in 1986 and 2014 by the local bishops of Brooklyn as
'NOT SUPERNATURAL' and also 'theologically problematic', and that they
contain 'theological errors that contradict Scripture'. (Click here for the full 2014 statement uphold the former decision of 'NOT SUPERNATURAL'.)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
According to what I have learned, the bishops were correct (of course!) - there is an obvious problem with these visions which show them to be false if not outright demonic - here are only a few examples. As they say, the devil is in the details.
Failed prophecies equal fake mystic - the Bible tells us to not pay attention to any so-called prophet if their prophecies don't come to pass.
Some of the events predicted didn't come to pass within the exact specified time that was particularly detailed: such as the 'Ball of Redemption' and the looming market crash:
“Our Lady” of Bayside, June 18, 1988: “Within two years or less, there will be a great crash of the market. The whole world’s monetary systems will be paralysed. That, My child, is why you had to come this evening to the grounds.” (Our Lady of the Roses (Blue Book), p. 108.)
This never happened, only an economic recession in 1990-92, and, the monetary systems are not paralysed yet, despite the huge Great Recession we had in 2007-2008. False prophecy.
The Act of Contrition "will be cast from the books this coming year." (Oct. 6, 1988)
The Act of Contrition was never ejected from any official Catholic books, let alone in 1989.
“Our Lady” of Bayside, June 18, 1988: “Do not be affrighted, My child; you must see this, for it is important. Within this century this Ball will be sent upon mankind… It is almost too late… a Ball that is fast hurtling towards earth! It will be here within this century, if not sooner.”( i.e. before the year 2,000) (Our Lady of the Roses (Blue Book), p. 108.)
This didn't happen either. Yes, there are predicted disasters by true apparitions than can be delayed or put off by penance, but when predictions are detailed like this regarding a time frame and then don't come to pass without a logical explanation why, or some kind of proof of penance done to delay them, it usually means they are false.
Also, Our Lady would not need to use such silly, gimmicky language for the coming comet to strike the earth, if that is what she meant. Past mystics have predicted a major comet as one of the chastisements, we all know and use the word 'comet'. Or if, even if it's a meteor, etc. If using mystic language, why not use 'falling star' as we have seen in other prophecies? Why change now and use such language that sounds fake and affected like 'Ball' of Redemption? Remember: Satan knows all the real prophecies of other saints and approved apparitions and how to sound convincing. He knows how to mystify and intrigue us with great-sounding mysto-babble.
"Our Lady" describes the comet intended to wipe out the populations of the earth an object of 'redemption' - this is false. An object that is going to wipe out two-thirds to three quarters of the human race is NOT an object of 'redemption', but of justice and chastisement. It is the CROSS of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, that is the sign / object / symbol of our redemption that saves mankind. True mystics have said it will be the SIGN OF THE CROSS that will appear to give the Victory after the chastisements, as it is the Cross of Christ that is the sign of our redemption from death and sin.
To call the comet that will chastise us, if that is what is going to cause the Three Days of Darkness, as 'redemption' is false as 1) it will be an object of God's JUSTICE AND WRATH, and therefore a sign of terror to the nations, not of redemption. 2) Many who will die during the great days of the earth-rocking chastisement that will wipe out the populations will be sent to Hell as the Three Days is meant to wipe out practically all of the enemies of God and of His Church. As Christ declared to the true mystic Marie-Julie Jahenny He did not want to send the chastisements, for MANY WOULD BE LOST TO HELL. He is trying to give the earth time to convert and repent before then. So, the Three Days are a sign of God's wrath, Justice, and punishment. Remember this is going to be the 'Day of the Lord' as described in the Bible, which is also described as the 'Day of Wrath'. If the 'ball' was really going to be an object of 'redemption' why is Heaven trying so hard to have us pray and make reparation so it doesn't happen, or to put 'redemption' off for as long as possible?
Obviously there is something wrong with the comet being called a ball of 'redemption' when it's going to be a 'ball of wrath', a 'ball of chastisement', a 'ball of justice'.
It sounds as if Our Lady, the Mother of Wisdom,
Again, another instance of good-sounding mysto-babble.
A DIRECTION THAT UNDERMINES THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH
Our Lady is supposed to have said: “My child, you must not use the little strength you have to try to convert all upon earth. You will have to give this to the angels to do most of this work of conversion. (May 26, 1979).
The angels have many jobs in Scripture and Tradition, but evangelizing has always been the job of mankind within the Church, not the angels. This withdrawal from active evangelization is part of the cultic exclusivity of Bayside, which encourages believers to simply withdraw among themselves and shun those who do not believe in the apparitions. And yet, on June 9, 1979, Jesus says a month later through Veronica, "You cannot and must not break away and form your own groups." - a glaring CONTRADICTION.
FALSE TEACHING ON THE TELEVISION
“Our Lady” of Bayside, Sept. 27, 1975: “I have, many times, cautioned you, and all My children, against the use of the diabolical machine, your television. There will be no excuses for having these in your presence.” (Our Lady of the Roses (Blue Book), the “messages” of Bayside, published by Apostles of Our Lady, Inc. Lansing, MI, 1993, p. 86.)According to the Message of Bayside, “Our Lady” says that there are no excuses for having a television in your presence. This is ridiculous. That means that one could never watch a Catholic movie, or the news or some other perfectly acceptable program. What about televised Masses for the home-bound and sick, or the Urbi et Orbi indulgenced blessing from Rome at Christmas and Easter?! Are we not allowed to have those? Our Lady would certainly condemn the misuse of the television, and most things on television; but this statement of Bayside is clearly false, and it contradicts the teaching of Pope Pius XI in Vigilanti Cura, June 29, 1936.
Pope Pius XI points out the “potentialities for good as well as for harm" regarding the 'living images of movies'. Since this can obviously be extended to the 'living images' of the television, it is clear his teachings declare movies and the television are not intrinsically evil; they can be used for good.
Pius XI points out that watching a movie requires less mental effort than reading a book, which is why movies and the television are so popular. Most people are unwilling to make the mental effort it requires to read. Since this continuous stream of living images is presented directly to the eyes by a motion picture, Pius XI points out that it possesses great power to incite men “to virtue or vice…” Thus, movies and television can lead men to virtue, if the program is wholesome and Catholic. So, contrary to what Bayside says, there is a good 'excuse' to have a television - it is up to us to use them properly. Movies and television are not intrinsically evil. And, we can certainly extend this to computures and the internet ... a lot of apostolate work would be out the door if we didn't have that, as well as movies and televsion. The Message of Bayside is proven again to be false.
"The end approaches" for Reagan? He lived until 2004, nearly twenty more years after that. Pope John Paul lived until 2005!
“Our Lady” of Bayside, June 18, 1988: “Please, My children, pray for your Holy Father, the Pope. (i.e John Paul II) You must not lose him, for the one who comes after him will destroy if he can – he will attempt to destroy Pope John Paul II.” (Our Lady of the Roses (Blue Book), p. 108.)
This is another false prophecy. The pope after John Paul II, Benedict XVI, didn’t try to destroy him, but worked to canonize him! Further, the prophecy is contradictory, for how could the pope after John Paul II attempt to destroy him when John Paul II would be dead for him to be pope in the first place?
Pillar of stone, er, ah no, salt, yeah it was salt. What was that?!
CONTRADICTS THE COUNCIL OF TRENT
REGARDING THE DECORATIONS OF THE MASS
(The decorations of the Altar are described as mere trappings invented by MAN that are 'NOTHING' ?! )
"Our lawfully ordained, blessed priests will always have the power to bring My Son in physical Body to you. The trappings, as such, My child, placed on the procedure by man are as nothing, for you will live in the spirit, not in the aspect of worldliness and decoration. All that has been destroyed and removed in My Son’s House are but symbols" (Oct 6, 1971).
In this passage, Mary attempts to console the faithful about the liturgical destruction of the early 1970's by stating that the trappings of the liturgy and the altar are "as nothing" and just "worldliness and decoration." It is as if she is saying, "Don't worry about the ceremonies of the liturgy of if your churches are stripped bare of holy images and beauty; what matters is that the Mass is valid. Everything else is decoration and that it is WORLDLINESS AND AS NOTHING."
True, the validity of the Mass is important, but the rest of the message is contrary to what the Church has taught at the Council of Trent in Session XXII:
"And whereas such is the nature of man, that, without external helps, he cannot easily be raised to the meditation of divine things; therefore has holy Mother Church instituted certain rites, to wit that certain things be pronounced in the mass in a low, and others in a louder, tone. She has likewise employed ceremonies, such as mystic benedictions, lights, incense, vestments, and many other things of this kind, derived from an apostolical discipline and tradition, whereby both the majesty of so great a sacrifice might be recommended, and the minds of the faithful be excited, by those visible signs of religion and piety, to the contemplation of those most sublime things which are hidden in this sacrifice."
The 'trappings' of the Mass are NOT mere 'worldly nothings' but are based on apostolic discipline and tradition - and therefore inspired by the Holy Spirit. They aid the mind of the faithful to more fully contemplate what is happening at a Mass. So, a huge anti-Trent contradiction here!
Wow - imagine Heaven getting that one wrong! What a blooper.
"Remember, My children, in the days ahead, your great comfort is the knowledge that there is no death" (June 18, 1980).
SERIOUS ERROR: you cannot remove the term 'death' from the dictionary. Death happens. Also, you cannot rewrite the Creed - Christ Himself was crucified, DIED, and was buried. This is Manichean dualism, ie. that the "real you" is the soul or spirit, the body is simply a "shell" or a "casing." Also death is mentioned in the Bible, there is an eternal death too as those who go to Hell suffer the 'Second Death' which is in Scripture. Therefore Bayside is attempting to re-write the Bible as well. This is a major example of how far out some of Veronica's earliest messages were.
5) Mary also conducting our Particular Judgement after death?
Mary: “Life is eternal. Your body will die, but your living entity will continue over beyond the veil. My children, I repeat: there is no death; you live on. Once you leave your body, with full knowledge you live on, and come to Us for judgment. (Oct. 6, 1979) --- "Us"? Ah, no, Our Lady can intercede for us at our judgement, but she will not judge us --- that is Christ's job.
6) Repenting for someone else - which cannot be done! "Now, My children, I want you all to make a firm Act of Contrition, for those who die now in the outer world about you. An Act of Contrition for all those who are unable to say it, for themselves" (June 18, 1987) - While we can certainly do penance on behalf of other people, we cannot be contrite on behalf of others; contrition is a personal act expression sorrow for particular sins. We can do penance for others, but we CANNOT repent for them. This is bad theology.
7) Protestant theology - Jesus in one of the visions refers to the Bible as the cornerstone of the Church. This takes place in the context of an apparition of the Four Evangelists: "[The Evangelists are] holding up what looks like pens. They're very strange - looking pens; they look like a feather with just a point on the end. And they're writing - each one of them has a book, and they're writing in the books. Now Jesus is nodding."You have taken that correctly, My child. That is the manner in which the Book of life and love was written for you. I say for you, because it was to be established as the cornerstone of My Church - let us say that, My child, the cornerstone of My Church is the Book of life and love, that you call the Bible." (May 17, 1986) ----- The cornerstone of the Church is the Bible? That sounds woefully Protestant, and even unbiblical since the Bible says of the Church that "the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself" (Eph. 2:22).
8) Jesus and those in Heaven having 'faith' - this is HERESY. Jesus: "But I assure you, My children, We, in Heaven, have great faith that you, Our children, who hear Our words, will act upon them and help to recover as many of your brothers and sisters as you can throughout the world." (June 18, 1986) Faith is a theological virtue proper to those of us here on earth on our pilgrimage of faith, those who "see through a glass darkly" (1 Cor. 13:12). Faith exists because our knowledge is partial, but when we attain heaven and the beatific vision, faith will pass away as it terminates in knowledge. As St. Paul said faith and hope will pass away in Heaven, but not charity. Nobody in heaven has faith, especially God, who is pure act and possesses supreme knowledge. To assert that those in heaven have "faith", even Jesus Christ, is contrary to Catholic theology and is heretical.
9) HERESY that the Mark of Baptism can be effaced -
“Each man on earth who has been baptized and set himself up as a follower of My Son in infancy has received the mark of the cross upon him. He can in his lifetime cast this away and be branded with the mark of the beast" (Dec. 31, 1972). Of course, baptized people can lose their salvation, but she does not say this. She says that the "mark of the cross" impressed at baptism can be cast away. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says:
"Incorporated into Christ by Baptism, the person baptized is configured to Christ. Baptism seals the Christian with the indelible spiritual mark (character) of his belonging to Christ. No sin can erase this mark, even if sin prevents Baptism from bearing the fruits of salvation" (CCC 1272).
Now, considering there is so much heresy spouted in the visions, it is obvious that the DEMONIC is involved and this is not just a human fabrication when we look at the next two examples of directions and information given at the apparitions.
1) Strange 'Miracle Photographs' we are supposed to 'interpret'.
In many of the messages, Mary directs Veronica to take a series of photographs. The photographs would then be examined for various signs or evidences of supernatural messages, including dates and clues to interpreting the messages. For example:
"Now, My child, for reasons that you are not to give out, I wish at this time that you take three photographs. They are very, very important, My child. They will contain a date for the next catastrophe." (June 18, 1986)
This practice in many of the messages is called "reading the photographs" (May 26, 1979). It is very common and appears at the end of more than half of the Bayside messages. If Mary and Jesus come from heaven to deliver messages to mankind, why this direction of making Veronica take photographs and then interpret them for additional revelations?
A photo from 1979 is given special importance, as it allegedly predicts the exact hour of the Great Chastisement: “I ask that the photograph given from Heaven, Jacinta 1972 be propagated, made known worldwide; for within this photograph lies the date, the month, the hour, the year of the coming Chastisement. Search it well, My children; for those who are given the grace will find the answer to the puzzle: ‘Jacinta of Fatima—Jacinta 1972.’ (Oct. 6, 1979)
Okay, St. Jacinta of Fatima really gave a prophecy for that year, but in NO WAY is anyone ever going to find the exact date, down to the hour, month or year in that photograph, or even in her real '1972' prophecy, regarding the coming of the chastisement! St. Jacinta's real prophecy is very vague and does not give dates. "Our Lady of Bayside" is supposed to have already revealed it was to come before the year 2,000 anyway and that has gone by almost 20 years. We are now to feverishly stick to examining all the photographs of Bayside for secret messages and how to find the exact time and date? This takes people attention away from true mystics such as Marie-Julie Jahenny who actually gave the most detailed information to date on the Three Days of Darkness.
THE FRIGHTENING THING - paranormal lights, orbs, and streaks actually appeared in the Bayside photographs. Since Bayside is riddled with heresy and false prophecies, these strange light streaks cannot be of Heaven, especially .....
The 'vision' is actually directing people to waste their time trying to FORETELL THE FUTURE BY PRACTISING AN OCCULT FORM OF DIVINATION CALLED PSYCHOMETRY by looking for signs in the photos!
According to the Wiki put together by the 'Association of Independant Readers and Rootworkers', (basically divination occultists),
"Psychometry is the practice of receiving information from physical objects and using the information in divination, (i.e. fortune-telling) . Photographs (...) and many other objects can be read in this way. (...) The item to be psychometrized is usually held in the hand or hands of the reader, or, in some cases, it is pressed against the reader's forehead. Information obtained by psychometric reading of an object or photograph may be visual, auditory, or simply known without an emphasis on a particular sense. (...) Because of its versatility, photographic psychometry is employed on behalf of clients in many situations and as a divinatory technique, (i.e foretelling the future) it has a reputation for producing remarkable results when undertaken by a gifted psychometrist."
Read that last part again written by the occultists: - photographic psychometry (...) as a divinatory technique, (i.e foretelling the future) has a reputation for producing remarkable results when undertaken by a gifted psychometrist."
So if anyone is 'given the grace' to understand the hidden messages in the Bayside photos as "Our Lady" says to find the hidden time of the chastisements, they are defintely NOT God-given graces or gifts.
Heaven does not need photos to prove a real apparition or to give a message.
We could in all seriousness call the pictures from Bayside a product of the 'Devil's Photoshop'.
Since we have evidence of the demonic at work --
2) The next dangerous thing to watch out for, Veronica is supposed to have "guardian angels" whom she allowed to invoke by name.
Now, a true apparition would never go against the direction of the Church, and, the Church has declared that spiritual beings such as the angels are not to be summoned, communicated with, or invoked by name other than those whose names are specifically revealed in Scripture, i.e. St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael as we have no idea who would could be communicating with. Demons are only too eager to answer such summons. (There is good reason the Church has condemed this, click here for more info - giving out new angel names is a sure sign of a fake vision.)
Bayside has encouraged devotions to and even interaction with questionable spiritual entities with no history in the Catholic Tradition such as "Tomdarius", "Tusazeri", "Razene", "Sactorius", "Nadina", and even the Angel of Death's name is supposed to have been revealed - "Exterminatus". According to Veronica, a vision of "St. Theresa" encourages the faithful to interact with these strange beings. Seriously? Against the teachings of the Church?
Saint Theresa - "You know, my sister, many of the names. Will you give some this evening to others?"
Veronica - Yes. There's Tomdarius, Tusazeri…. He is my guardian angel, but he's quite a clown. He likes to circle around. And right now he’s turning and spinning again. He always does that when he sees me; he turns and spins. And now also, there's Razene and Nadina and many others. (Oct 1, 1988)
(Veronca was told "Tusazeri" is supposed to one of the highest archangels - yet 'acts like a clown'? I find this odd. Since when are angels described as 'clowns'? And, his name sounds so demonic at the same time - it sounds like a close relative to 'Pazuzu' from the "Exorcist II" movie, which is based on the name that the ancient Mesopotamians called the leader of the demons of the wind. Doesn't that feel like something is off?)
Considering that the demonic is at work here, are we being encouraged to summon demons by these names? Talk about interacting with the wrong kind of 'angel'!
:::::::::::::::::
These are only a few examples of Bayside proving to be false, but they are MAJOR at that. As the Bible says, if a prophet gives prophecies that don't come to pass, then they are false prophets, don't listen to them, and here we even have heresy and instructions to practise an occult form of divination to boot! And, possible demon-summoning.
A reminder: the visions and messages of Bayside have been declared in 1986 and 2014 by the local bishops as 'NOT SUPERNATURAL' and also 'theologically problematic', and that they contain 'theological errors that contradict Scripture'.
If it is not supernatural, and contains theological errors that contradict the Scriptures, and as we have seen, contains numerous false prophecies and even contradicts the teachings of a pope from the Pre-Vatican II 'traditional days' of the 1930s, then it means whatever happened at Bayside was of human or even of preternatural-demonic origin, and as we have seen, there are signs of the latter being the case.
Therefore, these visions and so-called prophecies are not in the Timeline.
