!? Johannes Lichtenberger (d. 1503)

There is a Great Monarch and Angelic Pontiff prophecy attributed to Johannes Lichtenberger, a German who in the early 1470s was briefly court astrologer to Emperor Frederick III. His 1488 Prognosticatio in latino, published at Heidelberg, was well known and appeared in numerous subsequent editions and translations.

First, the prophecy Great Monarch and Angelic Pontiff attributed to him is not by him but a commentary on past prophecies, such as the 'Birch Tree' prophecies, and, also features a repeat of the prophecy attributed to Bl. Joachim de Fiore, mismashed it and cut it short, and also gets the letter of the King or Pope wrong, or, changed it for his own ends, we cannot tell as Bl. Joachim said 'R' while Lichtenberger switched it to 'P'.

Of interest, he also agrees the Great Monarch will be French, but his prophetic commentary is not original, and since he is not a venerable, blessed, saint or approved Catholic mystic, but a German astrologer, his prophecy is not included in the Timeline. He offers nothing new in any case, and what he does offer could have a typo in it.
